About Foreknown
If you’ve experienced the loss of a pregnancy or infant, you know that grief can feel overwhelming and deeply isolating. Questions often outnumber answers, and it can seem like no one truly understands the weight you’re carrying. Yet even in the deepest sorrow, God is present, faithful, and at work.
Foreknown Ministries exists to walk alongside individuals and families navigating pregnancy and infant loss. We believe no one should have to grieve alone. Whether your loss was recent or many years ago, our desire is to provide Christ-centered hope, compassionate community, practical resources, and a safe place to process your story.
The ministry began through the shared journeys of co-founders Alyson Brown and Kelsi Cole, who each experienced the heartbreaking reality of pregnancy loss. As they walked through grief together, they discovered not only the comfort of a friend who truly understood, but also the faithfulness of God in the midst of unimaginable pain. Through countless conversations, prayers, tears, and time spent seeking the Lord, they began to recognize a common calling: to create a ministry that would offer the hope, support, and biblical encouragement they longed for during their own journeys.
That calling became Foreknown Ministries.
Today, Foreknown exists because we believe no family should have to navigate pregnancy or infant loss alone. We have seen God meet people in their darkest moments with His presence, His peace, and the hope found in Jesus Christ. While grief is never something to “get over,” healing is possible, and hope can grow even alongside profound loss.
Whether you’re looking for someone to listen, resources to help you process your grief, or a community that understands your story, we want you to know this: your child matters, your grief matters, and you matter. You are deeply known by God, and there is hope—even here.
Our Mission is to empower mothers and fathers to find healing in the ultimate healer- Jesus Christ, after pregnancy or infant loss.
How Do We Accomplish Our Mission?
-
By texting “4Hope” to 719.626.8486, a grieving parent can connect with a Foreknown Team member who’s been in their shoes and can pray for them as they walk through loss. That text opens doors to support the parent as they navigate through pregnancy loss.
-
Our free monthly online support group for women who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss offers a safe space for encouragement, prayer, and connection with others who truly understand. Whether your loss was recent or years ago, you’ll be welcomed with compassion and reminded that there is hope in Christ.

Healing is stronger when you don’t walk alone. The As One Weekend is a Christ-centered retreat designed for couples who have experienced pregnancy or infant loss. Through biblical teaching, meaningful conversations, and time to reconnect, you’ll find encouragement, renewed hope, and the reminder that you can move forward together—even after profound loss.

We have relationships with some of the largest OBGYNs, Hospitals, Ministries, and Churches in Colorado that allow us to equip doctors, nurses, pastors and others that support people in loss. We work with these people to help them understand and care for those going through loss, especially miscarriage and infant loss.
Foreknown Ministries is a 501(c)(3) Colorado-based nonprofit corporation managed by a volunteer board of governors.
What We Believe
-
God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe, the only true and living God.
He is the Creator of all things (Genesis 1:1-31), and in Him, we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:28). He is the God of truth, without iniquity, all-knowing, all-powerful, all-loving, just, and right (Deuteronomy 32:4). He will judge the world with righteousness (Psalm 9:8).
God eternally exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and one God, sharing the same nature, attributes, and perfections. They are worthy of the same worship, trust, and obedience (Mark 12:29; John 1:1-4; Acts 4:3-4).
-
The Bible is God’s Word, written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit.
It is inspired, breathed out by God, and perfect in its original writings. As the supreme source of truth for Christian belief and living, the Bible is without error and carries God's complete authority for the well-being of humanity.
We believe the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments are God's full and sufficient revelation. Because they are divinely inspired, they are entirely trustworthy and foundational for faith and practice (Psalm 119:97-104, 119:160; Matthew 5:18; John 5:46-47, 10:35; 2 Timothy 3:15-16).
-
Humanity is created in the image of God, uniquely designed to know Him, reflect His character, and live in relationship with Him.
Every person is intentionally created by God, deeply loved, and possesses inherent dignity and worth because they bear His image (Genesis 1:26-27). From the beginning, God created humanity for fellowship with Himself and with one another. However, when sin entered the world through Adam and Eve’s disobedience, that relationship was broken. Sin brought separation from God, brokenness into creation, and death into the human experience (Genesis 3; Romans 5:12).
Because of the fall, every person is born with a sinful nature and, by choice, falls short of God’s perfect standard. No amount of good works, morality, or personal effort can restore what sin has broken. We are all in need of God’s grace and the saving work of Jesus Christ. Through His life, death, and resurrection, God made a way for us to be forgiven, reconciled to Himself, and restored to the life He created us to live (Romans 3:23-24; Ephesians 2:1-10; Colossians 1:21-22).
Even in a world marked by sin and suffering, every human life remains precious to God. We believe He sees every person, knows every story, and invites all people into the hope, healing, and new life found in Jesus Christ.

Salvation is God’s gracious gift to every person, made possible through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Because of our sin, we are unable to restore our relationship with God through our own efforts. In His great love, God sent His Son, Jesus, to live a sinless life, die on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for our sins, and rise again, defeating sin and death once and for all. Through Christ alone, we are forgiven, reconciled to God, and given the promise of eternal life (Isaiah 53:5-6; John 3:16; Acts 4:12; Romans 3:23-24; 5:8-10; Ephesians 2:8-9).
Salvation cannot be earned through good works, religious activity, or personal achievement. It is received by grace through faith as we turn from trusting ourselves and place our trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. At that moment, we are forgiven, made new by the Holy Spirit, adopted into God’s family, and begin a restored relationship with Him that will last for eternity (John 1:12; Romans 10:9-10; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Titus 3:5).
Because of the hope we have in Christ, we know that suffering does not have the final word. In Jesus, we find forgiveness for our past, strength for today, and the confident hope of eternal life with Him. This hope anchors us in every season and assures us that one day He will make all things new (Revelation 21:1-5).

Every human life is a sacred gift from God, intentionally created in His image and deeply known by Him. From conception to natural death, every person possesses immeasurable worth—not because of what they can do, but because of who created them (Genesis 1:26-27; Psalm 139:13-16).
We believe God is the Author of life. He forms each person with purpose, knows every child before birth, and loves every individual with perfect and unfailing love (Jeremiah 1:5; Ephesians 2:10). Because every life bears His image, we affirm the dignity, value, and worth of every human being at every stage of life.
We also recognize that life in a fallen world is marked by grief, loss, brokenness, and difficult circumstances. As followers of Jesus, we are called to respond with both truth and compassion. We seek to care for the vulnerable, walk alongside those who grieve, support families with Christlike love, and extend the hope, grace, and forgiveness found only in Jesus Christ. No failure, regret, or painful chapter is beyond His redeeming grace (John 8:1-11; Romans 8:1).
At Foreknown Ministries, we believe every life matters because every life is created by God, known by God, and loved by God. This conviction shapes everything we do as we serve families affected by pregnancy and infant loss, pointing them to the hope and healing found in Christ (Micah 6:8; James 1:27).
What’s the biggest goal of Foreknown?
Our greatest goal isn’t simply to help you survive your loss, it’s to help you discover hope. Because we’ve experienced this journey ourselves, we know how lonely it can feel.
