Losing a child is a “both” thing; both you and your spouse have lost something. Both of you go through it and we’re here to make sure you do it together. We’re here to walk with you “As One.”

Women and men communicate differently, they look at life differently and approach pregnancy differently. When a miscarriage or stillbirth happens, we grieve differently, too. If we approach these issues with individuality and not togetherness, we aren’t unified and we can drift apart.

“As One” brings you and your spouse together so you can process, grow and strengthen your marriage. We equip you with tools to communicate, grieve and overcome life’s hard situations so that you can overcome anything together.

“As One” is a very intimate and intentional weekend in Colorado Springs, CO. We show you our city, host you at incredible places and curate an amazing experience for you and your spouse to connect and grow.

Overnight lodging accommodations at a discounted rate are available.

Trade your crammed conference weekend in for a relaxed; non-rushed time, with people who get it.

Keep it simple:

(We can’t give away all the good stuff. A detailed schedule will be emailed to couples after registering)

Thursday: Get in and get settled. Then let’s hang out that evening.
Warning: a firepit may be involved

Friday: Early am guided hike, breakfast on your own, morning session,
Lunch on us, Friday afternoon session, date night, and group activity

Saturday: Breakfast on your own, morning session then lunch on us, closing session and wrap up

Weekend Hosts

  • Kelsi and Ryan Cole

    Kelsi and Ryan Cole

    Married in 2010, Kelsi and Ryan have been through multiple pregnancy losses. From miscarriage to a late-term stillbirth, the Coles learned to lean on God through all of these hard times. At “As One” they lead through their experiences of grief and loss.

  • Alyson and Jono Brown

    Married in 2012, the Browns lost their daughter Cora to a later-term chord-wrap incident. They share their experiences of growing up having faith in Christ and how this loss affected them, their marriage, and their parenting.

“This was a much-needed weekend to put our marriage first after what we’ve been through. We’ve found ways to support each other’s grief and have improved our communication.”
