The care that people receive after the loss of a baby can change the trajectory of their healing, their faith, their marriage, and their future.

We are here to equip you to help parents and patients start their grief journey better.

We know, because we’ve been there. We provide resources and compassion training based on the personal experiences of those who have experienced pregnancy loss. We aim to help healthcare professionals, pregnancy centers, and churches be more empathetic, compassionate, and equipped to handle people needing care in their deepest time of need.

Better care for grieving parents starts with YOU.

Whether you are a nurse, sonographer, chaplain, or pastor, providing empathetic and compassionate care is vital. Click below to learn more about the resources available to you through Foreknown.

  • We know how hard it is to walk people through loss. Finding the right words, suggesting next steps, and caring for those starting a grief journey aren’t major topics discussed in school, but have major implications on both patient care and satisfaction. We work with frontline workers to give you tools to help patents and words to offer comfort after miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss.

  • You championed them as they chose life, but what happens when that life ends? We provide pregnancy center staff with information needed to care for patients and tools to create a long-term care plan focusing on both people in the couple. Our resources for men and women help them navigate the loss and provide them with hope for their future.

  • Grief can be a lost practice in today’s society. But when done correctly by a church family, you have the opportunity to guide people back to Jesus.

We work with care pastors and teams to be a practical source of Christ-centered hope and long-term healing, walking parents through their pain.

Equipping Care Professionals to Handle Grief Better

  • We Train Staff To Be Compassionate, Offering Real-Life Scenarios and Tools for Grieving Parents

Our Compassionate Care for Reproductive Grief Course and Staff Trainings were built for medical professionals, frontline workers, and pastors to understand what loss feels like, what a parent needs, and give them tools to walk into a room and care for patients with compassion. Presented by parents who’ve experienced loss and based on the research and testimonies of people who’ve navigated loss, this course is the missing link, giving professionals tools and words to comfort those in grief.

  • We Supply Pregnancy Loss Handouts for Patients & Staff in English and Spanish

Pregnancy loss is really difficult because parents leave empty-handed. We have these simple and effective cards for men and women to know that there is a next step for them to take in their healing journey. Our 5” x 5” cards are a conversation starter for professionals to use to care for parents leaving empty-handed.
In addition, our care professional card is perfect for new staff, equipping and reminding them as they handle patients what compassion looks like and some suggestions on what to say or not say.

  • We Give Parents A Path + Hope on Their Journey

We took the most helpful information from our weekend retreats that’s transformed hundreds of lives and made it accessible 24/7 through our online courses. These are the first steps women and men can take to walk towards healing after loss.

  • We Walk With Parents Through Their Pain

When you introduce grieving parents to Foreknown, we create a long-term relationship, walking them through the pregnancy loss journey. We’re in it for their good days and bad. We do this through a wide range of Foreknown resources, like text-based care and opportunities for support groups, mentors, and coaches to assist with the pain. How do we help parents?
We walk parents from pain to healing.

At Foreknown, we empower mothers and fathers to find healing after a miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss. We do this in three ways:

Text-Message Support

When we lost our children, we had each other to text and share the pain. We do that for so many others throughout the world as they walk through pain. Women and men can text “4Help” to 719.626.8486 and they won’t have to walk through pregnancy loss alone.

Online Courses

We took the more helpful information that’s transformed hundreds of lives and made it accessible 24/7 through our online courses. These are the first steps women and men can take to walk towards healing after loss.

Coaching

Sometimes you need a person committed to you and your journey to walk with you, and our coaches have experience leading people through the pain. Sometimes people don’t have support, so we fill in that gap through our coaching program.
