While we do have an incredible Heavenly Father, walking through the loss of a child is hard. We believe that Jesus Christ met us in our delivery rooms and walked through these difficult season with us.

Here are some important scriptures that helped us:

  1. Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
    And lean not on your own understanding;
    In all your ways acknowledge Him,
    And He shall direct your paths. - Proverbs 3:5-6

  2. For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. -Jeremiah 29:11

  3. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go. - Joshua 1:9

  4. Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted.” -Matthew 5:4

  5. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.- Psalm 34:18

  6. Fear not, for I am with you;
    Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
    I will strengthen you,
    Yes, I will help you,
    I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ - Isaiah 41:10

  7. “I am with you always, even to the end of the age. - Matthew 28:20b

  8. Be still, and know that I am God" - Psalm 46:10a

  9. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You. - Psalm 139:16-18

  10. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.””- Hebrews 13:5b

  11. Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”- John 14:27

  12. You will keep him in perfect peace,

    Whose mind is stayed on You,
    Because he trusts in You.
    Trust in the Lord forever,
    For in Yah, the Lord, is everlasting strength.- Isaiah 26:3-4

  13. These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.”- John 16:33

  14. Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.- Philippians 4:5-7

  15. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

    I will fear no evil;
    For You are with me;
    Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

    You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;
    You anoint my head with oil;
    My cup runs over.
    Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
    All the days of my life;
    And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
    Forever.- Psalm 23:4-6

  18. Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. - James 1: 2-4

  19. For You formed my inward parts;
    You covered me in my mother’s womb.
    I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    Marvelous are Your works,
    And that my soul knows very well.
    My frame was not hidden from You,
    When I was made in secret,
    And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

  20. For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance. - Romans 8:24-25

  21. Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.- Romans 15:13

  22. (Bonus)- ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”- Revelation 21:4
