Foreknown Men Podcast: Teaser Episode

When men lose a child in a miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss, oh man do they feel alone.

People mostly reach out to care for our wives and women in loss and let’s be honest, that’s pretty that’s normal and awesome! The truth is that men are sometimes overlooked and a lot of times people forget that men lost too. They can feel alone, forgotten, and really don’t have a place to turn to for support.

Hey. I’m Ryan. That was my journey and I’m on a mission to help men know that there’s somebody here to help them after losing a child.

My wife Kelsi and I have a beautiful daughter, but when you look at our family picture, you don’t see the 5, yes, 5 other children we’ve lost to miscarriage or stillbirth. We’ve been through the baby-making ringer; miscarriage, stillbirth, infertility, heartache, pain, waiting, death, and burial. It’s all really deep and complex and painful.

But, through my journey, I found hope and community with other men. I can’t wait to share some of them with you. But I also and most importantly, want to connect you to the one person that can help you heal and that’s Jesus.

Hold on, before you peace out because you get weirded out that this is some touchy-feely churchy podcast, give me 12 more seconds. Hear me out.

You may be a guy that is super upset with Jesus. I’ll even say pissed off? I get it. That’s real and raw and I believe you’re entitled to be at a place where you can work out your questions, discuss your concerns, and learn how Jesus carried others through. I’m one of them.

You may not even believe in Jesus, but this place and this podcast is still for you. This isn’t a Christian band-aid podcast, this is real life, discussed by real men who have been really hurt by pregnancy loss.

So what’s the foreknown men Podcast about? Finding hope and healing after pregnancy loss through the lens of scripture, prayer, community, and Jesus.

Who’s it for? Men seeking answers. Men wanting to be better. Men wanting to keep their marriages together, who want to learn how to support their wives, and maybe, just maybe grow in their faith after going through one of life’s hardest times.

So I invite you to take a step and listen to the Foreknown Men Podcast to find out about the hope that Jesus wants to freely give you. Together, we can become stronger after loss.
