4 Ways to Remember Your Child
October is a month of transformation, marked not only by falling leaves but also by a deeper purpose: Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month. It's a sacred time when we remember the tiny souls who graced our lives all too briefly, offer support to those bearing the heavy burden of loss, and seek solace in the promise of healing. In the midst of this journey, we find the Colorado Wave of Light—just one of the four significant ways to remember and honor our children during this month.
Attend the Colorado Wave of Light: Heaven Changes Everything
The Colorado Wave of Light is a remembrance event held this year at Focus on the Family, where families gather to share in the understanding of pregnancy and infant loss. This community comes together to honor the memories of their little ones, offering comfort and support to one another. It's a place where tears are met with empathy and healing begins in the company of those who've walked a similar path. Jesus adds the true opportunity to care for and guide people to healing, and this year’s message of Heaven Changes Everything will add depth and hope to hurting parents.
2. Light a Candle on Sunday, October 15: Illuminate the Darkness
On Sunday, October 15, join a global movement by lighting a candle at 7:00 p.m. This simple yet powerful act symbolizes the light of hope and remembrance. It's a moment to pause and honor the love you hold for your child. As you watch the candle's flame flicker, know that your child's memory burns just as brightly in your heart.
